- Third Wednesday Coffee, 8-9 a.m. April 16 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St, Punta Gorda. Coffee Sponsor: Effectv. Program: Quarterly New Member Showcase. This excellent opportunity affords to you to meet and greet our new members, get familiar with their products and services, and make new connections. New member introductions.

- Parrot Outreach Society, 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, 11205 Elizabeth St., Suite 1, Punta Gorda. Ribbon cut at 5:30 p.m. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided. Raffles for attendees.
- Sam’s Club grand reopening, 8-10 a.m. Friday, 17700 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte. Ribbon cut at 8 a.m. First 300 people will receive a gift bag. Food and cupcakes will be provided.
- Kahwa Coffee Roasters grand opening, 10 a.m. April 7, 19580 Cochran Blvd., Port Charlotte. Ribbon cut at 10 a.m. Free coffee drinks all day. Meet and greet the Tampa Bay Rays mascot. Attendees can register for a chance to win free coffee for a year. Other surprise giveaways.

SPECIAL EVENTS - The 14th Annual Charlotte County Chamber Classic is set for May 10 at the Aileron Gulf Club, 11274 SE Aileron Way, Lake Suzy. This is your opportunity to golf at Sunseeker Resort’s exclusive golf course. Check-in is at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome to participate is our golf tournament which funds our Junior Leadership Charlotte Program for high school juniors.
