Leadership Charlotte Class of 2024 Applications now being accepted

Our Leadership Charlotte Program is embarking on its 35th year as the premier program of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. The Leadership Charlotte Class of 2024 application are now available. If you are a chamber member or to wish become a chamber member and want to experience an amazing opportunity to get a one-of-a-kind education of how Charlotte County operates and meet all the invaluable people behind scenes that make it happen, then this program is for you!
The application selection process is very competitive. Only 25 applicants are accepted each year. It is important each answer to be complete and comprehensive for every question. The program beings in September, with a reception announcing the new class. In October, there are a couple of session that are mandatory to attend. From November through June, one day each month you and your classmates will visit multiple business segments to get a well-rounded learning experience and determine how the class can make an impact with our local community.
In addition, the business connections and life-long friendship that will be made is priceless! Deadline for all application submissions is Friday, Aug. 4, 2023. Chamber Activities

Third Wednesday Coffee (member event): 8–9 a.m., Wednesday, June 21 at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Coffee sponsor: Charlotte State Bank & Trust. Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon cuttings are an effective way to meet the business owners (and fellow chamber members) in an informal atmosphere and develop great connections. Plus, you get familiar with their products and services provided. Please take the time to show your support and attend our ribbon cuttings!
Port Charlotte Detox (grand opening): 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 1 at 3460 Depew Ave., Port Charlotte. Refreshments and facility tours provided. Registration is requested.
Mazda of Port Charlotte (groundbreaking): 11 a.m., Thursday, June 8 at 798 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. Registration is requested.
Meals on Wheels (new kitchen reveal): 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 13 at 3082 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte. Registration is requested.
Hometown Title Closings & Services (new location): 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 15 at 2091 Tamiami Trail, Unit B, Port Charlotte. Food, drinks, and giveaway will be provided. Registration is requested.
